Porthcawl lighthouse never fails to produce when the storms come so the winds pick up and the tide comes back in. Due to how it’s built the lighthouse sits on an almost ramp that the waves are able to ride up and crash over the breakwater it’s on. Sometimes, like in this image, the winds pick up a lot and the power of the sea is evident as the waves are truly gigantic!
