Barry Island is a quintessentially nostalgic seaside location with arcades, a fun fair and a gorgeous sandy beach. It’s a location I come back to time and time again. This image is taken in the surf of the slow incoming tide that was lovely and warm and felt great around the toes! I wanted to process this as a dark and moody image that reminded me of shooting film with coloured filters like we did prior to digital. I love how the foam of the surf really stands out and has impact against the darkness of the sand its slowly washing over.

A stunning image that would look in place either within a home space or business due to its commercial appeal.
