Taken along the South Wales Heritage Coast, here is a stunning ethereal image of a seascape featuring rocks to anchor the image. I nearly died taking this image as I hadn’t realised the tide had come in further along the coast either side of me and had marooned me on an island now in the sea! The wade back to the beach having to walk over rocks now hidden in water whilst keeping the camera, tripod, filters etc above water was scary, especially as I found the water doesn’t need to be deep to be strong!

The rocks have been recaptured by the sea with the incoming tide and soon to be hidden before the tide ebbs away and reveals them again. I love the softness of the sunset and how subdued and pastel the colours are. A certainly less is more image that has massive impact.

A stunning image that would look in place either within a home space or business due to its commercial appeal.
